This smartphone will impress you with its fast, next-generation smooth and responsive screen operation. It has an excellent camera accompanied by the high-end power of the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. It all fits into a light, thin and durable casing.

Samsung Galaxy S2‘s  smooth onscreen operation, high-res camera, its unique, high-contrast thin-film display screen, and generous built-in memory  give it a definite leg up on upcoming high-end smartphones on the  horizon. Watch out Apple!

Screen contrast on its Gorilla thin film 4.5 inch touch display screen is outstanding. Not only does it have great contrast, making it easy to read in even bright sunlight, it is also surprisingly tough and is proving to be scratch resistant thus proving its ability to withstand heavy use. The unit is also extremely easy to clean.

The Samsung Galaxy S2 comes with an internal memory of 16GB and 1GB RAM. You can of course upgrade the memory to 32GB with an external memory card. This is highly recommended with all the new apps arriving on the scene these days. An 8GB card is provided with the handset. The Samsung Galaxy S2 connects through GPRS, EDGE, 3G HSDPA, WLAN Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB. Besides this, users can also use web browsers or Google search and users will never get lost with its built-in GPS and digital compass.

In a nutshell, Samsung Galaxy S2 will give you a great user-friendly experience. It has a long-lasting battery that proves itself in standby and talking modes. It has an excellent music player and a big clear sound. It also has an 8-megapixel camera that allows for recording hi-def video shots. Want to do video calls? No problem. Its 2 megapixel secondary camera allows this.

Premium phones like the Samsung Galaxy S2 give you the very best features you can get on a mobile today: extremely fast processors, cameras that can cope with HD video recording, and super-high-resolution screens. The Samsung Epic 4G Touch or the Sprint variant of the Samsung Galaxy S2 features a 1.2GHz dual-core Exynos microprocessor, two cameras, Gingerbread Android OS and is capable of supporting eight devices since it can be used as a 3G/4G mobile hotspot. This smartphone also utilizes the WiMax network of Sprint.

So what’s the downside of this phone? First, higher operation costs; expect to pay a higher monthly fee or receive a less generous calls and text package for your money. Second, the Samsung Galaxy S2 is a large phone with a larger display area than you are probably used to. It may take awhile to get accustomed to the larger screen size. Naturally, more information can fit on the screen. This is better for games and videos. It’s only when you put the set up to your ear when you make a call that you’ll notice the difference in size. The other drawback to it is that it doesn’t easily fit in your pockets. You simply need bigger pockets or you’ll need to find a way to carry it more conveniently.

I promise you though that Apple will have to stretch hard in its next incarnation of the iPhone to match the capabilities of the Galaxy S2.
